Go Back to School in Style with LuLaRoe

August 14, 2017 By Jennifer Jordan 2 Comments

Teacher clothesCalling all teachers! It’s back to school time! Are you ready?

In my former life, I was an elementary special education teacher in a self contained setting. I spent a lot of my time on the floor and getting down and dirty with my kiddos. I had some exceptionally challenging students, so sometimes you could even see me running down the hallways chasing after kids! While I wanted to look nice and professional, I also needed to be comfortable. (Remember the running down the hall part??) While I knew it wouldn’t be appropriate–as I was a teacher, not a nurse or therapist–there were times I wished I could just wear scrubs. If only LuLaRoe had been around 10 plus years ago! To have comfortable and fashionable clothes that I could wear in the trenches–and even run in–would have been fabulous! (Hello leggings!!!)

Lucky for you, LuLaRoe is available! You can start the year off right with easy, versatile, and fashionable pieces that are perfect for any classroom! Below, I will share with you my favorite top six LuLaRoe pieces that will help you get dressed in a flash and help you stay comfortable all day. You won’t need that jeans pass if you have LuLaRoe! You can mix and match all of these pieces too!

1. Leggings

Leggings. Not just any ol’ pair of leggings. But buttery soft, stretchy leggings. Leggings that let you breathe and move (and allow you to have room to eat all that food that’s always in the teacher’s lounge)! LuLaRoe leggings come in solids and lots and lots of fun, and sometimes funky, prints! They are sure to be a conversation starter. And if you’re an elementary school teacher, your little sensory seeking friends will adore rubbing your soft legs. Don’t say I didn’t give you fair warning!

2. Irma

Irma is the perfect high-low tunic to pair with our buttery soft leggings. The long back is perfect to cover all of your, um, assets! Irma comes in solids and prints. It’s so soft and cozy that you won’t even need to change into lounging clothes when you get home from a long day at school.Teacher Clothes

3. Carly

The Carly swing dress flatters every figure. It’s flowy with a nice high-low hemline and is great for all seasons. You can wear Carly alone or even over a pair of leggings when the weather turns colder. There are so many different ways to style Carly, and it’s a great wardrobe stable. Just like the Irma, Carly comes in solids and prints.

4. Amelia

Pockets, y’all! Need I say more? Who doesn’t love a dress with pockets? Teachers always NEED pockets! For tissues, small fidgets, change, etc. You can’t go wrong with Amelia! Amelia has a back zipper (which can also be worn in the front for a different look!) and is made of stretchy material that moves with you. It’s just perfect for a more professional, put together, classroom look.teacher clothes

5. Sarah

When I was teaching, my classroom was always too hot or too cold. On inservice days, you could bet the room would be freezing. (Do they do that on purpose to keep us awake?) Every teacher needs a Sarah. It is a long cardigan that is perfect to just keep in your classroom at all times. And again…POCKETS! Sarah pairs nicely with just about anything, and it looks a lot more professional than a sweatshirt. Sarah is a great layering piece for all of the other pieces mentioned above. It is definitely the icing on the cake!

Love your clear explanations of the style here. Never liked Carly before, but no one showed me to tie it like you did. I am a retired elementary ed teacher and it is so hard not to get caught upin the holiday attire even though I can’t wear them at school anymore. It is hard to get special occasions out of my wardrobe. I am one of the few people who go “whole hog” and decorate my house for Halloween and other holidays. I appreciate your efforts and thoughts. Thank you

Hi Cheryl! I’m so happy to hear that this post was helpful for you. My mom sounds just like you! She’s a retired teacher as well, and she decorates the whole house with awesome decorations. It must be a teacher thing:-) I truly appreciate your feedback, and thank you for reaching out and joining my LuLaRoe community!
